Fall calls for pumpkin patches, corn mazes, blankets, and...COFFEE!

Let’s talk COFFEE! It’s November, so I know you all have had at least one fall drink by now. But let’s be real, the fall drinks that we see on the menu aren’t necessarily the most calorie sensitive. And if that’s where you want to spend your calories, then by all means, GO FOR IT. But I prefer to eat my calories rather than drink them 🙂 Let’s take a look at the calories and macro breakdown for the most popular seasonal drinks at Starbucks right now.

Seasonal Drink Macros if Ordering As-Is


Pumpkin Spice Latte   (THE FAV)
390 calories | 14g protein, 51g carbs, 13g fat

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
250 calories | 3g protein, 31g carbs, 12g fat

Apple Crisp Macchiato
280 calories | 9g protein, 49g carbs, 5g fat

Chai Tea Latte
240 calories | 8g protein, 45g carbs, 4.5g fat

I thought, how can I modify these drinks to still give me that fall drink feel, minus the calories? SO below are 5 modifications to some of the fall drinks we all know and love. 

**Macros for all these drinks are for a grande size drink. Each can be ordered either iced or hot, whichever you’re feeling this fall. (Except the Cold Brew. Obvi, don’t order that hot cause they’ll look at you crazy). 

I’ve subbed all milk in these for Almond Milk. It has the least amount of calories, but I’ve broken the calories for milks below in case you prefer something different. This is based on 8oz, which is approximately how much you’ll get ordering a grande of each drink.

Protein: 2g | Carbs: 21g | Fats: 4g

How to order:
Order a pumpkin spice latte
2 pumps of pumpkin
2 pumps of sugar free vanilla
No whip




Carmel Macchiato

Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

Calories: 80
Protein: 2g | Carbs: 13g | Fats: 1g

How to order:
Order a cold foam cold brew
Add 1 pump pumpkin sauce in the cold foam
Add 3 pumps of sugar free vanilla in the cold brew




Nitro Cold Brew

Apple Crisp Macchiato

Calories: 130
Protein: 1g | Carbs: 17g | Fats: 6g

How to order:
Order an apple crisp macchiato
Sub Almond milk
2 pump apple brown sugar syrup
1 pump sugar free vanilla
Add cinnamon powder
No apple drizzle
